Scheduling
We are dedicated to preparing professionals who educate with an eternal perspective. All freshmen and new majors are encouraged to meet with an advisor during their first semester. You can schedule an appointment by phone, email, or by coming in person to room 175 of the McKay School building. We do not accept walk-in appointments.
We do fingerprinting in office Tuesdays through Fridays from 5–9 PM.
Our office is closed for the BYU Devotional each week from 10:45 AM–12 PM.
Faith Centered Advisement
Throughout your university experience, the Education Advisement Center provides personalized support tailored to your educational and spiritual needs as you progress through three developmental phases: Exploration, Practical Knowledge, and Experiential Learning.
The Christ-centered purpose of the advisement center is to help you strengthen your faith in God, discover His unique plan for your life, and emulate Christ by uplifting and enriching others (D&C 8:14).
As you fulfill this purpose, you will:
- Seek divine guidance while receiving counsel from campus resources and faculty.
 - Trust in God as you make informed decisions about your education and future.
 - Prayerfully explore the expectations and requirements of your chosen major and career.
 - Develop professional and interpersonal skills that reflect the Savior's love, compassion, and respect for others.

The Education Advisement Center supports you every step of the way, ensuring that your academic and spiritual journey align with God's plan for your success.
